Cult Classic (by tweeders55) |
This is a wonderful A movie. It directly hits on all points of sexuality with a wonderful sense of humor and a great Mystery. There is no fantasy aspect involved at all. It's all physical and mental psych. Very funny also. It doesn't drag. Or maybe it does. It works on all levels of Trans. All of the actors are amazeballs or removal of said balls with real boobs. CGI Penis was great. Michelle Rodriguez did a FINE Job. A Really Fine job. My only very slight complaint is she didn't swing her bat very well. I was a softball player. But that could have been part of the whole trans <more> |
Wonderful! (by melissa-47587) |
I thoroughly enjoyed watching, "The Assignment". I love the actresses, story line, and intrigue over what happened next. I have no idea why these reviewers gave it such a low score, but imagine these people are why we have Trump as a president. |
Excellent. (by dbbd) |
If you liked sin city, you'll like this movie. A good story is sometimes in you you tell it.It sets a dark mood. The plot is straightforward. The ending makes sense. It is worth the time to watch and is entertaining.Weaver is still a great actor. I think the effects department deed a very poor job on Johnny as a man. But all in all it is a good movie. |

Give this story to the screenwriters who made Jessica Jones and this would be another great television series. |
It entertaining in a very weird way (by phanthinga) |
The Assignment without a doubt will be the new cult classic of this generation with one of the most crazy and insane plot that i can only imagine.Directed by Walter Hill a man that deliver many great action movie in the 90s this movie told a bloody revenge story about a hit- man named Frank Kitchen played by Michelle Rodriguez I know right a guy with a girly face,a girly body and a girly voice get a transgender surgery by a doctor played by Sigourney Weaver after killing her brother now he has to seeking for justice with his new identity as a girl.Repeat this is not you usual girl with gun <more> |
Worth a Look For Plot Surprises & Great Performances (by lavatch) |
In the special features of the DVD version of "The Assignment," there is an interesting montage of photographs from the behind-the-scenes work on the film, especially the work on make-up with Michelle Rodriguez's character of the hit-man Frank Kitchen. But the still photos do not convey the outstanding work that Rodriguez turned in with the challenge of playing two characters. One is a man, and the other is a woman, who still has the self-identity of a man.The LGBT community may not be thrilled with both the premise and the delivery of this character. Still, the role of Kitchen <more> |
Pure entertainment (by afontelonga) |
If you don't like action and have a dark sense of humour then don't waste your time and don't see it, it's that simple. It only means you have other movies that suits you better. Whoever watch's it, take it seriously lightly and you will have a laugh. It's a graphic movie with a B-side intention. |
